|Rouven Lenhart started his career in Solar business in 2006 with leading German inverter manufacturer SMA Solar Technology AG. At SMA Solar Rouven held various roles from Off-Grid development department to Business Development.
In 2015 Rouven joined meteocontrol as Senior Sales Manager to develop meteocontrols international business activities. Now he is heading Business Development & International Sales unit and is appointed as Managing Director / CEO for meteocontrols international Business hub in Dubai, UAE.

|Mr. Frank Wouters is the Director of the “EU GCC Clean Energy Technology Network” project, since December 2015. Mr. Frank Wouters has been leading renewable energy projects, transactions, and technology development for over 25 years. He has played a lead role in development of renewable generation projects valued at over $4.5 billion. These range from small scale PV solar electrification in Uganda to the 100MW Shams I Concentrated Solar Plant (CSP) in the UAE, and strategic equity investment in the London Array, the world’s largest offshore wind project. His transactions have received multiple project finance “Deal of the Year” awards.
As Deputy Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the first global intergovernmental organisation dedicated to all renewables, he managed a US$350 million IRENA/Abu Dhabi Fund for Development project facility for RE. He appraised over 80 projects a year and recommended projects for funding, including solar PV projects in Africa.
Mr. Wouters has served on the board of several energy companies, including Torresol Energy SA, where he developed three solar plants with an overall budget of US$1.4 billion.
Mr. Wouters has a proven track record of advice to public power sector agencies. As Director of the Masdar Power Unit, a clean energy company owned by the Abu Dhabi Government, he managed more than US$3 billion of power projects, including solar and wind power projects. He coordinated with government ministers and other stakeholders to promote private sector investment for RE projects as part of the Africa Clean Energy Corridor Initiative.
Qualified with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University, he is fluent in English and German, as well as Dutch.

|Dr. Nabih Cherradi is Desert Technologies’ Chief Technology Officer. Has spent over 30 years building on a long record of accomplishment of equipment's/production lines as well as business development in the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries.
Prior to joining Desert Technologies, Nabih was CEO of EmpowerSun, a Swiss based photovoltaic energy consultancy, which he founded in 2009. In the meantime, he also co-founded ISWT a French solar developer company. From 2007-2009, as a Vice President/CTO, he accompanied Yingli Green Energy in its fast expansion with responsibility for the technology and manufacturing. He also participated in its IPO in New York (NYSE). As operations & process director at Applied Materials from 1997 to 2007 Nabih was responsible for installing turn-key semiconductor and photovoltaic production lines throughout the world, installing multiple GWs of production capacity across a ten year period. From 1990 to 1997, he acted as associate professor and research scientist at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne.
He holds a PhD on materials sciences from the University Henri Poincaré, Nancy as well as an MBA, from the Business School of Nancy, (France).

|Sergi is the Regional Manager for Middle-East and Africa (MEA) & India at GreenPowerMonitor (GPM), a DNV GL company. Holding over 10 years of experience in the field of energy and climate change, his primary developing duties are leading business relationships with customers, establishing new partnerships and leading the development of techno-commercial offers for targeted countries.
Sergi previously worked under many capacities at consulting firm Factor CO2, including Representative for APAC, Business Development Manager, Project Manager and Senior Consultant. His global experience spans different continents, including Europe (Spain, Poland), APAC (Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, South Korea, India) as well as Middle-East and Africa (MEA).
Sergi holds an MSc in Eco-efficiency and Energy Markets from the Fundación CIRCE (University of Zaragoza) and BASc in Environmental Science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in Spain.
